Field staff shared a quick update on the Starvation 9 Prescribed Burn. This was the first burn completed using a new aerial ignition UAS (Unmanned Aerial System). On Thursday, around 800 acres was completed with an additional 1000 acres planned today. Patrol will continue through the weekend. Work at this scale takes a lot of planning, hard work, and neighbors who share people and resources to make this happen.
