Enterprise, Ore. (October 8, 2025) — The Northeast Oregon Prescribed Burn Association is planning prescribed fire operations outside of Wallowa on Whiskey Creek Road. This work will begin in the morning of October 8th and wrap up in the afternoon. We use prescribed fires to help reduce overgrown vegetation and hazardous forest fuels to help protect local communities, infrastructure and natural resources from wildfires.
Watch for warning signs along roads near all prescribed fire areas before and during burns.
